Transfer accelerator protocol

Hi

We work in the media industry and we need to daily transfer several GB of image sequences from Europe, US and Asia. At the moment we need to use proprietary protocols such as FASP or MediaShuttle to speed up the transfer.
I would like to know if the R99 protocol could improve the transfer bandwidth compared to FTP or similar protocols. With modern internet, even parallel TCP transfers can fill the available bandwidth.

Thanks!
Olaf

Hi,

The R66 protocol, and its implementation in the monitor Waarp R66 achieve an optimal use of the available bandwidth.
Some benchmarks have shown that 90+% of the available bandwidth was still used on bad networks (5s latency with 1% packet loss).

Hi Bruno

thanks for your reply. It looks promising, I am going to test it soon.

Best
Olaf
